Photography
This page is to display the photos I have taken over the years that I love the most. All demonstrate skills in placement and composition in some way or form.
01
Ewha Women’s University
This photo was taken during my time studying abroad in South Korea. While my friends and I were exploring the area around Ewha Women’s University we noticed this beautiful sunset that was undisturbed and fit perfectly down the street. I personally love the gradient of the sunset and how it flows with the lighting of the street, the bottom more bright than the top.
02
Myrtle Beach
This photo was taken in Myrtle Beach while on a family vacation, just outside our hotel door. The yellow of the building created an amazing contrast against the vast blue ocean but also the beam of light against the wall added the extra element to create a stunning photo.
03
Busan, South Korea
As you can guess, this photo was also taken during my time in South Korea, however, very far from Seoul. This photo was taken in the second largest city of Busan. The program I had gone with had taken us to a tourist town with bright buildings that have not been changed into the high rise apartments you often see in the main city and TV shows. Fun fact, this whole trip was during a typhoon.

Old Sturbridge Village
Anyone who grew up in Connecticut knows that Old Sturbridge Village was the place to go on a fieldtrip, probably every Connecticut child has been here at least once. It is a village set in colonial times where visitors get to see and experience life from that time. My senior year of high school my photography teacher brought us to village for the last time. While walking in in early morning, grass still covered in dew, I noticed something glowing in the morning sun. I then saw the cocoon captured in this picture. I had immediately crouched down to snap a photo, everyone looking at me as if I was taking a photo of nothing, no one else had seen it yet. Even though this photo is old, it is still one of my favorites with fun memories behind it.
